Niche Sampling Inc. (NSI) was launched in 1993 and is proud to have served many of the world's most successful companies for two and a half decades! NSI is a marketing services company which seeks to provide an avenue for marketers to efficiently and effectively reach and influence the purchase habits of highly targeted consumer segments through product sampling programs. NSI is devoted to creating the perfect marriages between brands, retailers, sample distribution venues, media and consumers.

NSI distributes samples to fitness and health conscious women, college students, airline and cruise passengers, upscale men & women at theaters and new mothers in hospital.

NSI is also the creator of Synergy Sampling, an enhancement of brand imagery to deliver on optimum trial experience (OTE) to generate stronger conversion results.


Phil Gruber, President

As the founder and president of NSI, I have over 35 years of experience in marketing, advertising and brand management. Prior to receiving an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, I worked in New York as a media planner at SSC&B (Lintas) and as an account executive at William Esty.

Post MBA, I worked in Brand Management for ten years at Helene Curtis and S.C. Johnson and performed numerous consulting assignments for Bausch & Lomb, the Hunter Group and The Center For New Product Development.

As a brand manager, sampling had always been my most effective — yet also my most expensive marketing initiative. Our goal at NSI is to be the number one sampling company in efficiently and effectively reaching the heaviest users and most influential consumers.

Christie Jazwiecki, National Account Manager

I work with clients to identify brand growth opportunities and find the appropriate program and sampling distribution that supports their overall marketing objectives.

I have over 5 years of experience in an agency setting, where I worked closely with regional and national brands on their marketing and advertising programs. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Jennifer Schmitz, Marketing Operations Manager

My job is to ensure that our programs run smoothly and efficiently. I work with the client to keep program details and deadlines on track.

Prior to joining NSI, I spent four years in the advertising industry. I worked on new business development, corporate communications and a wide variety of consumer brands including, Dremel, Master Lock, Rayovac, Bombardier and American Italian Pasta. This combined advertising experience taught me how to evaluate a client's marketing needs and execute against those needs in a strategic, effective and cost-efficient fashion. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University.
